Mr Renganathan, our former Bahasa Malaysia teacher in Form 4 and 5, is very much a smaller man these days. Rajendra kept telling him to eat more. "Renga", as we fondly calls him, is still very active giving BM tuition. He was also part of the organizing committee for the MHS 185th Anniversary. Many do not know that he was an ex-MHS student as well.
See the difference between the top photo and the bottom one? They were both taken by my HTC Windows 7 phone. But the photo at the top sucks big time because it was not taken by me. Morale of the story: If you want a good photo, take it yourself! Other people may mean well by helping to take photos of you, but they will surely screw up your photo! :P
Thks for sharing these fotos, particularly of Mr Teja, who was my History teacher and my neighbour in Bkt Serindit; Mr Renganathan, who nearly gave me a slap in the principal(the late TS Rafie Mahat)'s room - for getting an A2 in my BM - he was sure that it was due to my very bad handwriting:)! - and Mr Kumara Das, who was our pillar of discipline in MHS. I wish them well and the very best:)!

Thanks Adi, for letting us know your escapades in MHS. How did you find out about this blog? Keang Sin is my younger bro, and I will be sure to let him know about your comment
ReplyDeleteHi KH
ReplyDeleteNo problemo:) Been reading your blog since 2008 actually, when I was still living in Brussels. I think I was quite homesick at that time, so I googled "MHS Malacca" - lo & behold, your blog was one of the responses that came out! It sure feels good seeing all the familiar faces,i.e. Parthiban, Lachman, Say2, who were also my seniors in the Prefects Board - of course not forgetting yourself as well, since u look very much like your brother:)!
Thks - yes, my regards to Keang Sin, please! Keep up this brilliant work, KH!
